# Shopify

> Connect a Shopify store through a Dev Dashboard app using the client credentials grant.

## Setup

In the Shopify Dev Dashboard, create an app inside the store's organization, grant it read scopes (orders, products, inventory, locations, customers), install it on the store, and copy the client ID and secret. Marina exchanges them for short-lived access tokens.

Add the connection under **Settings -> Connections**. Saving verifies it with a read-only test call.

## Configuration

| Field | Required | Description |
| - | - | - |
| Store | Yes | The store's myshopify.com subdomain. |
| API version | No | Admin API version. Keep the default unless an app needs an older one. |

## Operations

All operations are read-only. Apps declare the ones they use per connection; see [Using connections in apps](/connections/overview).

| Operation | Description |
| - | - |
| `shop.get` | Fetch the store's identity, currency, and timezone. |
| `orders.list` | List orders with Shopify search syntax, newest first by default. |
| `order.get` | Fetch one order with its line items and fulfillments. |
| `products.list` | List products with their variants. |
| `product.get` | Fetch one product with its variants. |
| `customers.list` | List customers with Shopify search syntax. |
| `customer.get` | Fetch one customer. |
| `inventory.list` | List inventory items with quantities per location. |
| `locations.list` | List fulfillment locations. |
| `graphql.query` | Run a read-only GraphQL query against the Admin API. |
