# Google Analytics 4

> Connect a GA4 property with a service account added as Viewer.

## Setup

Create a service account in Google Cloud, download its JSON key, and add its email as a Viewer on the GA4 property (Admin → Property access management).

Add the connection under **Settings -> Connections**. Saving verifies it with a read-only test call.

## Configuration

| Property ID | Yes | The numeric id from GA4 Admin → Property details. |

## Operations

All operations are read-only. Apps declare the ones they use per connection; see [Using connections in apps](/connections/overview).

| `metadata.get` | List the dimensions and metrics this property exposes. |
| `report.run` | Run a report over a date range with dimensions and metrics. |
| `realtime.run` | Run a realtime report over the last 30 minutes. |
